Settings

Everything an organization has to be configured for, in the order it usually matters.
  1. Sending domain — the seven DNS records, and the two that gate sending. Nothing else here matters until this is done.
  2. Sending preferences — postal address, time zone and email language, plus the sender address book.
  3. Members and invitations — three roles, and what each may do.
  4. Plans, limits and credits — what caps you, what you consume, and what each refuses.
  5. API keys — letting a script or an agent act for you.
  6. Notifications — what you are told when nobody is watching.
Two settings live elsewhere because they belong to sending rather than to configuration: sign-up and double opt-in, and the topics your readers may decline.
Settings are per organization, not per person. The same account can hold a different role in several organizations, and everything on these pages applies to the one you are currently in.
